SUMMARY:Doylestown: From Crossroads to Community (Screen 1)
LOCATION:County Theater\, 20 E State St\, Doylestown\, PA 18901
DESCRIPTION:Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM\n\nWe have partnered with our friends
from The Doylestown Historical Society to present their new documentary s
haring the history of our town. Members from the Historical Society will
be on site to introduce the film and lead a post film Q&A. For thousands
of years\, the indigenous Lenni Lenape traveled two footpaths that crosse
d in the center of today’s Bucks County. With the coming of Europeans\, t
hose paths became roads and a tavern was established. By 1776\, Doyle’s T
avern was accompanied by a few other log structures as a village began to
grow. As part of Doylestown Celebrates USA250 the Doylestown Historical
Society has produced a video chronicling the history of the Doylestown co
mmunity from these beginnings to the present day.50% of all ticket sales
will benefit the Doylestown Historical Society.\n\nMore info: https://www
